Organisation: Centre for Investigative Journalism (CIJ)
The Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI) is an initiative of the CIJ. It focuses on raising the standard of environmental investigations to enable thoroughly researched public interest reporting and evidence-based advocacy through training and skill-sharing with target audiences across six different regions. I led on the development of the curriculum for using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) for environmental and climate reporting and delivered a number of workshops as part of the international programme.
Organisation: Public Media Alliance
The goal of this Public Media Alliance project was to ensure that broadcast journalists in Sub-Saharan Africa feel empowered by new technology and use it to continue to deliver powerful reporting that drives change. Working in collaboration with local journalists, I designed a digital investigations toolkit to complement the wider programme of events.
